The tourist visa is entitled to a stay of 60 days. It is issued by the embassies and consulates in Thailand and abroad.

1 – Required Documents

– Passport with a validity exceeding 6 months from the date of entry into Thailand.
– Visa application form duly completed.
– A photograph of the applicant, 4×6 cm, recent (less than 6 months).
– A plane ticket confirmed by the airline.
– Confirmation of a hotel with the name and dates of arrival and departure.
(If the stay of the visa applicant met the special conditions, such as housing with a friend, a letter explaining the specifics of the stay must be provided)

It may possibly be asked to provide proof of financial responsibility (minimum of 20,000 baht per person or 40,000 baht per family)

2 – Validity of Tourist Visa

The validity of tourist visa is three months for the single-input and six months for multiple-entries.

3 – Rate of tourist visa

For visas issued by the Consulate of Thailand in Paris fees are 30 € for a single-entry and € 60 for double entries.

4 – Validity of stay of a tourist visa

An alien with a tourist visa can stay in the Kingdom for a period not exceeding 60 days or two periods of 60 days for a double-entries.

5 – Production time

The time to is 3 working days after the filing of the application to the Consulate.

6 – Extension of stay

This visa may be extended by 30 days in Thailand by Thai Immigration Services. The following documents are required: a photo, copy of passport and 1900 baht rights.
