A little further on the road to the south, there is the path to the "Best Mountain View Point" peaking at 467 m. The entrance to the road, a little hard to see, is just past the temple. Follow the sign "Tazan View". If you are confident in your driving skills, you can try the 6 km path for a simple but delicious lunch on the deck of a restaurant overlooking Maenam and Bophut Bay, and if the weather permits, enjoy a splendid view on the island of Phangan. The first 5 km are paved, but the last km is land, quite slippery (not recommended in case of rain). If you do not want to risk driving yourself on this path, many companies located near the port on the road to the beach offer you leading excursions by Land Rover driven by professionals.
